In addition, most issues include a biographical study of a significant figure in the history of the field of
educational technology, edited by Tom Reeves. Other new features include
"Q & A with Ed Tech Leaders," interviews with visionaries in the field,
and "Point of View," that is, occasional columns by leaders in academia,
business, and social science on topics related to educational technology.
Rounding out the new directions for the magazine, its Editors have commissioned numerous special-issue treatments on important developing trends in the field.
These are in addition to its authoritative, prize-winning regular articles on all aspects of the broad field of educational technology.
The magazine now includes analyses of "Educational Technology Research Journals," usually covering ten years of articles in the leading research journals in the field. This series is edited by Richard E. West.
